How to find and delete old accounts with Yorba

Most people have more than 220 online accounts. Do you know how many you have?

With Yorba, you don’t have to guess. Yorba scans the internet and dark web to find all accounts attached to your email addresses–the ones you remember signing up for, the ones you don’t remember signing up for, and the ones you never even signed up for.

Let’s back up a bit. When you give your email address to a vendor like Netflix, Apple, or even a local store, they may take that information and sell it. That vendor might sell that information, and that vendor may sell it again. So when you sign up for Yorba, don’t be afraid to find more than 100+ accounts attached to one email address.

Why digital footprints are so hard to manage

Recently, we talked about the problem with managing your digital footprint: it’s constantly growing, and it’s really hard to track down all the accounts you’re associated with. There are countless apps that try to do this for you, but many of them have been sued for improperly using your data; others simply don’t have the functionality to help you find and delete those accounts.

But the worst offender of all is that even if you remember which accounts you signed up for, you have no idea which ones sold your data. It can be really hard to track and harder to get rid of all those accounts.

Yorba makes it easy.
